We furnished and styled Dukes Homes two properties at the 2021 Home-A-Rama in Aberdeen. Did you get a chance to tour the homes? Aberdeen is Indy’s first lifestyle wellness community with walking paths, trails and gardens. It’s the first of its kind in our state and we loved seeing the community feel come to life during Home-A-Rama.
These two homes boasted more than 10,000 square feet of luxury living in the heart of Bargersville. The Updated Traditional is transitional with a brick exterior while Modern Prairie is contemporary with a stone exterior and black and white and gold accents throughout. Did you know the Modern Prairie won Home-A-Rama People’s Choice Award!?

“While it is contemporary, it feels warm and inviting and like HOME,” says Daniela, lead stager and designer for Nested Spaces. We furnished most of the spaces with our own inventory. Arhaus provided furniture in the main living spaces. We worked with Duke designers Emily Thrasher and Regina Salas.

Kitchen & Dining Room
The waterfall island is a showstopper!
Great Room
The great room includes a two-story stone fireplace, high ceilings and a wood accent wall. Additional warm tones and natural wood elements were in the furniture and décor to complement the space. Creams were used as accents to soften the warmer tones.
Outdoor Space
The Great Room also includes 20’ sliding patio doors to the outdoor living space. The sliding doors gives the view of the pool, built-in grill, and lake view. The property even includes a carriage house with a basket court. Would ever really need to leave with this much entertainment?! We used simple décor and furniture to not take away from the beautiful view.
Owners Suite
In the owner’s suite, we styled it using creams and grays with an accent of blacks. It created a soothing feeling in the space.
Basement
The Modern Prairie includes a large basement great for entertainment. It has kitchen with a built-in booth. The bedroom in the basement has built-in bunk beds. We kept the colors simple and added texture in the pillows and bedding.
