Welcome Ellie, our new Design Specialist!
How long have you been with Nested Spaces?
I have been a Design Specialist with Nested Spaces since December 2020 and I am planning on starting the certification process through Home Staging Resource in March.
What is your favorite project that you have been a part of so far?
My favorite project is a stage on Heyward Drive for our client, Denise Fiore. It was the first big project I helped with and I was able to stage an incredible set of built-ins by myself! I loved seeing and being part of the transformation of the space.
What is your favorite part of working at Nested Spaces?
My favorite parts of working at Nested Spaces is being able to use my creativity and the challenge it brings every day. Each home is different and learning how to stage each unique property is interesting. It has been a lot of fun!
What is your current design obsession?
Green is my favorite color and I love seeing it used as an accent color in homes. I also like to balance the color with creams and grays. We recently staged a house on Delaware (on our projects page) that had my dream green kitchen. A pop of earth tones makes my heart sing!
What were your past jobs? What did you study?
I studied Recreational Sport Management at Indiana University and have worked a wide range positions in the recreation sector- a parks department in Alaska, the Indianapolis Colts, and a local zipline and high ropes course. However, I am excited for the opportunity to express my creativity and challenge myself with Nested Spaces in a completely different career field!
What are some of your hobbies?
I have been training in Taekwondo at Indiana Taekwondo Academy for over 15 years. More recently, I have been creating digital art and have started selling some on the art on Etsy! I also love spending my free time outdoors in my hammock with a good book.
What is a fun fact about yourself?
I have a long bucket list, but at the top of my list is to visit all seven continents. I have visited two continents so far (Asia and North America), but I have plans to visit South America and Antarctica this year!
