Another project is in the books and we want to share the tea with you.  We wrapped up this newly built wooded estate in Zionsville, IN.  Nestled on a wooded lot with acreage, this 7,000-square-foot home is ideal for entertaining a crowd or daily living with a large family.  This estate is unique in that it’s secluded from a busy main road, but you’d never know it because its surrounded by trees,  a running stream and about six acres.

Builder Josh Loewen of JB Indy built this custom home with the goal of creating an escape for a large family with plenty of room for kids and animals to get fresh air and explore.  There is a nod to the mountains with the stone fireplace and a nod to nature with the sage cabinets and warm, earth tones throughout.
“A lot had to come together to build this property.  The focal point and my favorite part of the home is the limestone fireplace with the brick surround.  I also love the tranquil primary suite and how it overlooks the yard and creek.  The kitchen with the chef’s pantry is a favorite of mine, too.” ~ Josh Loewen of JB Indy

Custom cabinetry was created and rendered by designer Jordan Morrissey of Jordan Morrisey Interiors.  She designed the kitchen, pantry, mudroom, bathrooms and laundry room.
“We loved combining the shaker style cabinets with the quartz veining and gold accents.  The sage cabinets alongside the oak flooring and open shelves create an airy, but grand feel inside this home.” ~ Jordan Morrisey Interior Design
Dreaming of this kitchen, what a grand escape!

For the Nested Spaces team, our vision was focused on creating a warm palette for the interior.  We brought in furnishings, decor and artwork using inspiration from the mountains and also Indiana landscapes.  You’ll see neutral textures in artwork, dough bowls, bookends  paired alongside metals like gold and matte black.
“I really wanted to create a welcoming, soft interior that would bring family and friends together.  A place that didn’t feel too grandiose, but inviting and timeless.”  – Whitney of Nested Spaces
The stone fireplace in the hearth room is great for cozy ready or entertaining. It's right off of the kitchen and calls for calm, creative and free.
